2008 Hands-on Workshop
July 12 Using and Maintaining a European Scythe
9:00am – 1:00pm The Good Life Center at Forest Farm
This Hands-On Workshop will be led by Richard Scott of the Scythe Supply. The morning-long workshop will take place at Forest Farm and will cover the basics of how to safely and effectively use a scythe for a variety of homestead or backyard activities. Scythes will be provided for use to those who register before July 5. Space is limited so please register early. The cost for this workshop is $15-$25, sliding scale, and includes a seasonal, vegetarian lunch. For more information call Scythe Supply at 853-4750.
